Facebook users in northern Bangkok posted videos and still pictures of hailstones the size of small chunks of ice that fell in storms yesterday afternoon.

These were in the Ram Intra, Klong 2 Suan Siam and khu Bon areas of the capital.

Daily News reported that the storm was sudden but swift with heavy rains in many northern areas of the capital.

High winds caused damage and there was some flooding across Minburi, Klong Sam Wa, Bang Khen, Sai Mai, Don Muang, Laksi, Kannayao, Bung Kum, Bangkapi, Ladprao and Nong Jork districts.

Daily News said that hailstones for Bangkok were an unusual event.

I'm just waiting to read the report about people caught selling ice.

No problem.

Hualamphong Station was a copy of a European building, which was designed to cope with four feet of snow on the roof.

Very unususal for hailstones to be like lumps of ice.

I'm concerned about the word copy.
