I'm totally happy with my personal choice to get a hair transplant. Call it vanity or whatever you like, but I call it a good investment because I look and feel great. If you enjoy the shaved look I am happy for you. I agree not a big deal, nor did I say it was. The surgery was quick and easy but that doesn't mean I'm recommending it either, just passing on the info. Though the surgery was simple I did months of research to make sure I got the quality of care and result I sought.

Some people say that the bald look is attractive. It is all relative. Every single person who is bald looked much more handsome when they had hair. 

 

While slightly more expensive I prefer the 1 mg Finasteride pills. You tend to get an uneven dose when cutting pills. I prefer the consistency of 1 mg pills. I got a Hair transplant but hair loss is a progressive disease so you typically need to take some medication with it too if you don't want the hair to keep thinning, even from the "safe donor area". I'm just passing along the info not suggesting anyone who is happy shaving their head or leaving their bald look as it is do any different.

Just remove ALL the hair and be completely bald. I know a couple guys did that and no problems at all with other people. These days few people care about hair length- not like the 70s when all the guys went long and I was in the military with short back and sides. I compensated with a large mustache and sideburns.

Imo be thankful going bald is your biggest problem things could be worse good luck and enjoy your life!!

Yeah, but those guys are not really "popular" with the ladies (in "that" sense). And a lot of the guys in orange I see these days have a lot more hair that one might expect to see on a monk.

On the other hand, when I was still shaving my head, the girls in certain "establishments" used to love touching it. Normally touching an adult's head is taboo here and of course no woman would ever touch the top of a monk's shaven head. (Yes, I know that it occasionally a monk gets it on with a woman and it usually makes the news but 99.99% of the women in Thailand wouldn't ever consider trying to do it.)

But touching the shaven head of a foreigner ? Game on !   

And "bald" is still pretty popular. Sean Connery was going bald decades ago. Dwayne Johnson, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Samuel Jackson (mutherf***er be bald !), Bruce Willis, Patrick Stewart, Woody Harrelson and a host of other current actors are bald/balding.
