Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, a document that grants Canadians the right to assembly, and to protest any cause we see fit. To believe otherwise is anti-democratic, anti-Canadian, and goes against everything millions of Canadian soldiers have fought and died for.

Another event taken out of context. If one takes time to read reasons and comments police unions give for not publicly agreeing to comply, the reasons are not much to do with civil rights, and more to do with police not wanting the aggravation and negative response of doing it officially. Not easy being a  police officer  in big city now and the police don't want to be seen as "bad" guy.

The order was poorly  written and  probably not even legal. The government has now revoked the order and apologized, so end of story.

Very Good - but was not revoked when posted.
