I suspect you haven't thought this through. I believe you can get it worse though. It is all about viral load. You get better when your viral load decreases, hopefully to zero. However, if you are stuck in a Covid warehouse with a bunch of other infected people, you viral load could actually increase, perhaps to the point that you become sicker than you were when you went in. The tests are pretty sensitive. They can detect the presence of the virus at levels that are below the threshold for communicability, actually, which is another story. Someone who is of no danger to anyone, at the time of testing, could be stuck in with a lot people are much sicker.

I am also curious about what the mechanism for this would be. Would the current virus provide some sort of immunity from a variant? Would the current virus fight off or crowd out the variant? I don't think viruses are that smart. I don't see a mechanism that would make this statement true. Does anybody have a suggestion?

At the same time, the country had 94,281,550 medical masks and 544,141 personal protective equipment (PPE) suits When I see such accurate numbers I know someone is telling porkies.

The soldiers outside were recovering more than the ones outside. If your sick some fresh air and some sun will help your recovery.
