Gang Intending to Shoot Friend but Shoots Father

The Banglamung Hospital emergency staff informed the Banglamung Police at 2 am on 18th May that a 39 year old Thai male was brought in with a gun shot wound and requested the police to investigate.

When the police arrived; the injured Mr. Amnuay stated that he had been shot in front of his house in Soi Wat Tham Sammakhee Temple. A group of 3 young men who he believed to be his son’s friends shot at him three times but hit him once.

His son, 17 year old Anon explained to the police that it was his friends. Earlier he found out that this group was stealing motorbikes for a living and they must have come to shoot him to keep him quiet.

However, at that time he was sleeping in his room when they arrived. Unfortunately his father walked out and they must have thought that it was him so started firing.

The one who pulled the trigger was his ex-friend; Kwan.

The police now have all details of the gang for possible arrests.

Ex-friend is right. Good grief.
