121 Trains Suspended Services to Control COVID

BANGKOK, April 29 (TNA) – The State Railway of Thailand suspended its services of 121 trains from April 30 to May 31 to help contain COVID-19.

 

SRT said that the service suspension responded to the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration’s request for people to stop traveling to cope with the latest COVID-19 wave. The service suspension covered both long-distance and short-distance trains.

I was at a crossing as Langsuan BKK train passed this morning in Prachuap .....it was more or less empty it used to be heaving in better days

If they did this kind of thing a month ago then the whole saga could have been avoided.

 

I guess you make your choices as a government and this is what they chose.

Mini van services from my province to Bangkok and surrounding areas have already been cut due to less passengers, buses the same.

Their is no temperature testing before one gets on the train . It's essential.
