Quite true. Interestingly the Sinovac vaccine is singular in the use of conventional methods which have been routinely used with minimal problems apart from issues with the contents used as a carrier and preservative as all do. Yet it has been derided for almost any imaginable negative by many in favour of more definitively "experimental" products.

Being outright opposed to vaccines is different issue  which escapes my comprehension.

And thus not washing grubby little kiddie hands before touching everything around them in school playgrounds etc. There is the fecal-oral route taken by  many community diseases such as hepititus, cholera, dysentry, typhoid.......

The origin may be from poor sanitation but as with covid-19 does not distinguish enroute!

Accepted that a small percentage have an allergic  reaction to some component of  vaccines. But if the deformities in the 60's you refer to can you nominate a vaccine cause? More likely it was Thalidimide which  is/was never a vaccine. It was  developed primarily as a sedative which pregnant women were also incidentally , not exclusively, prescribed for morning sickness.

I've never been outright opposed to vaccines.

If there were a disease around with a 25% death rate, that I hadn't already caught, I'd take the vaccine.

But COVID, that I've already had, and a death rate of 0.15%, with an experimental vaccine not a chance.

Thankyou Rooster, I too remember how important it was to be vaccinated against the childhood diseases and later as a therapist working with the blind and deaf, the wards with rows of iron lungs, the people permanently disabled.    It is all forgotten now.

Sputnik is also, I believe a traditional vaccine and has been subjected to the same derision, Personally these are the only two that I'd consider taking for that very reason. I have no wish to be a guinea pig for Bill Gates and his minions...

I agree 100% I am also not an anti vaxxer and I just keep hearing more and more similar stories like this . I am in New York City and we can get it anytime anywhere now and I'm still waiting . My dear friend is an oncologist at MSK (Memorial Sloan Kettering ) He said these types of reactions are rare but have been happening . Then he advised me since I'm healthy wait and take the Phizer vax as he trusts what's in that more . I guess when the time comes I will take that one and hope for the best ?

Can someone explain to me why some people are against the anti-vaxers?. If you have been vaccinated and then are in the company of someone who has not been, what is the harm to you? I could only imagine that the anti-vaxer might have a problem with C19 but you should be covered, otherwise what's the point of the vaccine?
