Help! Anyone Or Any Place Can Look After My Dog For 16 Days?

Featured Replies

going for holiday June 11-26, wondering if anyone in Phuket or nearby is willing to look after my dog for 16 days? or does anyone know some place in phuket takes GOOD care of pets???

we checked "Dog Inn" in land&house this afternoon, where accomodates many dogs, but mostly are small ones. and i'm afraid there's not enough space for my dog, cos he's been a free-mind dog since he was born.

i would prefer someone who had or is having a dog(s) to look after mine for a while. if not, pls suggest some decent accomodation for the dogs.

many thanks.

What kind of dog(breed)is it?

Gerd

Phuket dog school on koh siray.  It's sits on about 4 rai oof land, and has many big dogs there. The dogs are kept in kennels, but are let out each day for exercise in a big yard.

have checked the website of Phuket International Dog School, and called the boss already. the rate of dog hotel is pretty fine. maybe my dog will attend the traininig course as well. only it's kinda far, but can't always ask for everthing.

thanks for the info, Steelepulse.

Thaigerd, is it likely that you take care of my dog personally? be aware, he's more human than a dog :-)

oh gerd already has a human dog. max is a very hansum man.

Thanks for your kind offer having 3 dogs already :o .....

My very personal experience with PIDS:

I don't like them!!!

Gave them my "Max"(the human one) for training but took him back after one week.Had the same problem like you a couple of weeks ago: Wanted to go away nwith my wife for 4-4 days and started looking around for a good place for our dogs.

My wife did it for 3 days in a row driving around and checking out a lot of places............but no success.

Too dirty, too small, too hot etc.

At the end we stayed at home :D

Gerd, why did you tell me that about PIDS, now i start to worry about my dog again :D ... 16 days is quite long... we would bring him if we're only going to europe, but we're going to china as well, where the quarantine cannot be avoid.

i guess i will still keep on looking.

well, next time if you wanna go away for few days, i will be voluntary to look after your dogs, esp. the human one :D

PIDS is OK, not great.  Yeah I would have your dog there for training as you are paying for it anyway, and with the training they will get your dog out more in the exercise yard.

thanks all... will let you know the result of training from PIDS.

my dog definitively needs to be trained. someone broke in the house between 10h-12h in the morning a couple of days ago, while my dog was sleeping soundly in the air-coned room :o

I could probably take him/her.......

Hows your dog with kids? I have a two yr old daughter. But I also have another dog, that would probably love the company of a canine friend. I have lots of space.

Edit : Send me a PM if you want to get in touch.
