Wd like to take my daughter to beach but control freak in laws arranged something without my knowledge and telling me I need to quarantine.

What are current rules for travelling to Petchaburi from Rama 2 area?

There are no rules, Petchaburi hasn't imposed any restrictions on people arriving from other provinces.

I drove down from Bangkok to Chaam last week without any problems. I think your in-laws are having a lend of you.

Go to the beach with your daughter and tell the inlaws where to go. Seriously, my life improved a lot when I showed them I do what I want to do.

I'm thinking of taking my daughter, who is studying in Bangkok, to Hua Hin.

Drive carefully, obey the 90 kph on hwy. 4 to avoid auto ticket and mobil radar.

Happy Beach Day Dad!

If you intend on driving 90 km make sure you stay in the center lane.  Drivers to Hua Hin will blow by you like you're standing still.  Sometimes large groups of bikers will do the same.
