Is anyone here using WeChat ? (its asking me to verify my account with anotheruser)

Hi,

I'm trying to sign-up for WeChat and there is a verification process.  (really annoying).

It says an existing WeChat user needs to verify my QR code.

How am I supposed to do this if I dont know anyone who uses WeChat ?   (its a catch 22 situation).

If anyone here uses WeChat,  would you kindly do this verification for me ?

If so, please message me  ????

I'm hoping that you are aware of this bizarre verification method... (so then you will understand what I am talking about).

  - Apparently this is a relatively new security feature they added recently.. and it really seems ridiculous to me.
