Please recommend new tires for Pajero Sport

Featured Replies

After 3 years on the road its time for new tires for my Pajero Sport. Any recommendations for brands and prices? Its 265/60R18

Thank you in advance.

Well all I  would say and do is go "Cockpit " and go with you budget.

You can take time to pay at our Cockpit which can be handy for owners.

I use B-Quik as they offer nationwide free puncture service + very good prices

Not enuf info ...

2WD or 4WD - do much off road or gravel roads in the wet.

Mostly trips to town, or lots of hiway miles.

Got a lead foot, or a pussy foot

To just ask for a tire recommendation ...

Get the round black ones

4WD, mostly used in town, sometimes going up the mountains in dirt/rocks

I would just buy the cheapest name brand I like the look of. I think the quality of tires has gotten much more consistent in the last twenty years.

The last set of tires I picked/bought were (I think) the same size and I got Firestones for about half what I would have had to pay for Michelins which was what I was replacing. The Michelins had over 70,000km on them when I replaced them and the 'stones had about 60,000km when I replaced the pickup, and they still looked good.

I would recommend doing a little online research on pricing (Lazada is a good start) and go from there.

If you have a shop close/convenient  to your home, I would go there once I know what I want and how much I expect to pay. You should be able to get what you want, and it's nice to pull up and have a guy run out and air you up and check your battery for free every now and then...
