Cable Thief Electrocuted and Dies

The Banglamung Police were informed at 7 am on 22nd May that the body of a Thai man was found in Takhiantia (Rong Poh) area.

On arrival officers found a Thai male aged around 30-35 years old on the road beneath an electric post. His body was burnt all over like he had been electrocuted.

Local residents explained to the police that at about 11 pm the electricity went out for a long time so they called authorities to put the electricity back on.

From inspecting evidence at the scene the police think that this man must have tried to steal the electric cables but was electrocuted when the authorities reconnected the electricity back while he was cutting the cables on the electric post.

Residents also said that electric cables have often gone missing from the area. More investigations will be made of who this man is and what actually happened.

I must say that if you sat and thought what could be the most ridiculous thing you could think of, you would not be able to outdo the daily Pattaya news clippings! :o

I have no sympathy. It was entirely his own volt.

Well, it should be beneficial to the local gene pool.

Naka.
