CCSA committee to address hospital bed shortage in and around Bangkok

A subcommittee of the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) is set to discuss the problem of a lack of hospital beds at state and private hospitals today (Wednesday), to accommodate the increasing number of severe COVID-19 cases.

661 infected with the Delta variant of COVID-19, number likely to increase

661 people in Thailand were infected by the COVID-19 Delta variant between April and June 20th and the number is likely to increase, said Dr. Supakit Sirilak, Director-General of the Department of Medical Sciences.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - The U.S. embassy in Thailand on Wednesday turned down a direct appeal to fly in coronavirus vaccines for its citizens but said the U.S. government was taking actions to boost vaccine access worldwide.

First million Sinopharm doses delivered to Thailand pass QC, jabs start Friday

House Speaker maintains his rejection of Pheu Thai’s draft charter amendments

House Speaker Chuan Leekpai today (Wednesday) reiterated his decision to reject the Pheu Thai Party’s  draft charter amendments, which seek to establish a Constitution Drafting Assembly to craft a new charter under Section 256 and Chapter 15/1 of the current charter, as both Houses of the Parliament convened to debate and vote on 13 charter amendment drafts proposed by various political parties.
