I presume those that were there did not know they had it so were asymptomatic, in which case this presents a good opportunity to find out how many others caught it from them (if any) from being in the same enclosed space.    Just how infectious are asymptomatic people for instance?

0% chance of spreading if you're asymptomatic.

Not only WHO source but personal experience from a mate who is asymptomatic.

Well if someone would have ordered and bought a sufficient amount of vaccines way back in the beginning instead of sitting around waiting until June, we wouldn't be in this position now would we!!! Root cause people, root cause!!!

Yes,

All this is a result of trying to save money.  Now the vaccines they are using, Astra and Sinovac aren't very effective against the soon to be dominant Delta and Delta+ variants.

Bumbling government ruining this country.

Eh locking people up is an essential thing. You cannot compare it with non essential things like beach gathering. Do you want the police stop working totally not locking up anyone anymore because that is the alternative.

Can't really call locking up people enjoying a quiet beer at the beach essential ????

As usual it looks like the dumb selfish few could scupper the chance for the majority to have the choice to go out and drink a cold beer in a bar, anytime soon.

Punish them by making them all down a bottle of Lao Khao in one go.

Well the personal experience of a mate isn't really conclusive. But aren't there many cases of Covid transmission via schoolchildren, who do catch Covid and mostly are asymptomatic?

A quick Google yielded this

So are you misinformed, or deliberately spreading false and dangerous lies?

I wonder what that actually means - isolation together ?

Use the plentiful supply of empty hotel rooms; give each of the 121 their own room and a couple of beers to wait out the test results.

Sinovac is useless against it

There's a little more to this than saving money, but for those of us living in Thailand we can't talk about it for a very well known reason.

Which  beach? The Raids are nonesense.  Outdoor transmission  rates are negligible. It's a police reign of terror. Meanwhile  on Koh Samet and and Koh Chang life is going on as normal. WHERE ARE THE VACCINES?

Reign of terror.... from our dopey lot?

Koh Chang is far from normal, all bars are closed and resorts have few customers.
