I suppose they "forgot" the Hisos  at Thong Lor nightclubs...

  • so you stop people breaking the curfew, but then just let them on their way? Why not test them to make sure they are safe to travel or not  otherwise, what is the point in stopping them ?

  • I wonder how many they arrested who were on their way to the airport?

Change "people" to "commoners."  I'm sure that special classes of citizens are allowed to roam.

My guess is zero.

If they'd only make it 7pm, we'd all become immortal and there would be zero deaths for ever and ever

For Yaba?

Great checkpoints to check for under the influence, well possibly, and then a double whammy.

The street vendors must get an unspoken break then. I really don’t think this is even a true story it is just fluff to make sure people stay in. If you go out you’ll see police and you will see people pass the police. I suppose it depends where you are. I think street vendors and delivery vehicles get a pass though. If your pronoun starts with an F, probably not so much.

...and they think home isolation for 14-days is going to work?

I think when you have met the brown gang more regularly you'll find they expect a tip to smoothe your passage

Almost as bad as ordering useless vaccinations. Or not ordering vaccinations. Or not signing off on orders for vaccinations. Or not ordering more vaccinations. Or having tea by the beach without a mask.

I disagree, it's their responsibility to know, not someone elses responsibility to tell

Arrested put into a packed room or jail cell to get a hand slap thus the reason we got the spread!

Bonanza time for police as they try to make up the shortfall caused by tourist shortages.

Leave my passage out of this, it don't need no smoothing thx.

Wonder how many were pinched last night, and yes I believe it is like sphincter control at those 88 checkpoints...read the post as you will...

I have a badge on my car that, among other perks, allows me to travel at any time of the night regardless of curfew:

l think no planes are flying during curfew hours. Not sure about International though.

I always love how these reports think Bangkok = Thailand. There's no Thailand curfew. There's a curfew in Bangkok and surrounds and the deep south - that's it.

Could't they have held on for another few minutes and made it a round 300? 299 is so untidy.

Surely they couldn't all be simply breaking the rules some must have had a legitimate reason for being out?

Like going to/coming home from work etc
