There are now 5,411 registered Covid patients waiting for a hospital bed within the home isolation and community isolation programs but more than 70 per cent of them have only mild symptoms, the government said on Friday.

“Another 848 patients were waiting for a hospital bed yesterday but the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has found beds for more than 121,457 patients already,” said Dr Apisamai Srisangson, the assistant spokeswoman of the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA).

The government categorizes Covid patients into colour-coded groups: asymptomatic (light green), mild symptoms (dark green), moderate symptoms (yellow) and critical condition (red).

What about that 30% who have symptoms? Its terrable already if 1 need treatment and not get it!

But over 1600 waiting, surely waiting not going to help how patient's going to manage this disease!

Its "great" that Bangkok Metropolitan Administration have find 121,457 bed to those who needed. Question is WHY NEED FIND SO MANY!? Hopely don't need find other 121,457 or even more!

Just yesterday I had a call from friends in nakhon pathom who said they've had Covid detected in their factories... two different people two different factories.

The boss of one company has told staff to self test if they want, if positive stay away.

The other boss has told the workers to quarantine at work for 14 days.

He's provided bedding, food/water deliveries.

If family etc want they can drop-off supplies but no visiting rites.
