PATTAYA KATOEY (TRANSVESTITE) KICKED, ROBBED AND THREATENED WITH DEATH

Two Thugs, on a motorbike, kick another motorbike ridden by a katoey, to cause it to lose control. The robbers point a gun at her and threaten to kill her if she screams. They steal her motorbike and ride away.

On the 26th May 2007, at 03:00 am, Pol.Lt.Col. Preecha Samrit, Pattaya Investigator, Chonburi, was informed of a robbery and assault, and rushed to the scene to investigate.

The incident occurred at the bridge to Bali-Hai Pier, South Pattaya, Moo 10, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi. The victim was Mr. Chayarngkoon Saiwongkam, (32) a transvestite, address 165, Moo 9, Wangbarn, Lomkhao, Petchaboon Province.

Her (his) arms and legs were injured. Miss Chayarngkoon said that she was riding the motorbike, a red and grey Honda Wave 125 from a house in Soi Goh-Phai on her way to work in a beer bar on Walking Street, South Pattaya.

Suddenly, two men, aged about twenty to twenty-five years old, approximately 160-170 cm tall,with short hair and without helmets, appeared. They were riding a lady's style motorbike.

Miss.Chayarngkoon was unable to remember the brand, color or license plate number. The two men approached and kicked her motorbike. She lost control of the motorbike and fell over.

The thieves got off their bike and pointed a gun at her, threatening to kill her if she screamed.One of them picked up her bike and quickly rode away.

As soon as she became composed, Miss Chayarngkoon contacted the police for assistance.

Unfortunately, at that point, there were no signs of the thieves.

Police took the hapless victim to the hospital and will investigate the crime in an attempt to apprehend the criminals and bring them to face the full force of the law.

Hmmm. Now waitaminnit. S/he couldn't even remember the *color* of the bike? I bet she could recall the exact shade of any lipstick or eyeshade, if the thugs had been wearing any...
