It all depends on what numbers you look at, and what you compare them with...

This is what the MoPH included in their daily briefing yesterday.

If you look in cumulative terms, Thailand looks pretty good compared to many other countries.

If you look in current terms, of what's going on right now, Thailand doesn't look so good.

And if course what you believe.

Nice picture. But beaches have to remain closed!

  • Mass vaccinations won't have any effect in two weeks unless they can get 30 million AZ done tomorrow. It takes two weeks minimum for vaccine to take effect and then you need two four weeks apart. Thin

Ergo that was the point I was making.  That was then but this is now.  Can not stand on past laurels when both feet are about to be placed into the frying pan.

That picture above looks like the starting line for a marathon.

I think we're going to see a massive, even overwhelming surge in roughly 2 weeks as the overcrowding at Bang Sue will become a Superspreader event.  This mixed with other I'll concieved vaccination spots.

Also the original Sinovac vaccines will be waning in effeciancy.

Medics and front line workers are at a breaking point.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm in deep red Nakhon Pathom, it's been like that for a long time.

Restrictions have done diddly-squat to slow the rise in infections.

Markets, factories, etc etc are all open and spreading the love.

Expect the same nationwide.

Doesn't mean a lot in itself but breaking into the 20k had to come

Well you can't have masses of people intermingling on the beach, but crammed under a hot tin roof is ok, or so it would seem looking at the lead story photo.
