Semi-lockdown measures begin today (Tuesday) in the 16 Thai provinces newly included in the COVID-19 “Dark Red” category.

The measures, officially set to last until the end of August, but pending changes in two weeks, include a curfew between 9pm and 4am, interprovincial travel restrictions with domestic flights and other public transports suspended, a ban on dining in but eateries being allowed to open until 8pm for deliveries, with takeaways allowed at those outside shopping malls, partial openings of malls which must close at 8pm, closures of schools with only online classes allowed, closures of convenience stores and fresh markets between 8pm and 4am, and a ban on gatherings of five people and more.

The 16 provinces include Tak, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachin Buri, Phetchaburi, Phetchabun, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Lop Buri, Sing Buri, Samut Songkhram, Saraburi, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi and Ang Thong.

it's not rocket science, the world has shown what needs to be done so there's little need for new or critical thinking which is good as most Thai's in authority ain' capable of that

Stop pussyfooting about and start enforcing the rules and start delivering on those vaccines you keep spouting off about and maybe, just maybe there might be an end to this, flip flopping and waffle will solve nothing...

Agreed.  Where's a guy like Stalin when you need him.  The world needs heavy hands to make the public fear and obey and this crisis would end in a matter of weeks!
"Flatten the curve" and your freedoms return. But see.  The public refused to obey there betters and here we are 18 months later in worse shape then ever.  The public needs an iron rod.  Like in Australia.  Spare the rod, spoil the child.

Ah yes, Stalin. A man so worthy that he was responsible for 20m deaths of his own people and the setting up of gulags.

I think Thailand is probably better off without him around, so perhaps you could keep him in Australia.
