I recently upload an image and a video:

They are both 200 pixels wide and about 300 high.

I made them that wide deliberately, so they would appear about the same size.

But they didn't.

Here they are again:

Sparky3.jpg.237790dd36d3cc3159a1da022ec39586.jpg  - 200 x 297

200 x 282:

Is there a way to specify the displayed size of the video or adjust it after upload?

So there's no way to do it, then. ????

Seems not. I downloaded your video (size as you mention).

Then upload and I can't find any method to avoid this stretching?

Interesting: if you right click on the video there is "Open video in new tab" which will then show the correct size (no zoom/stretch).

So this zooming seems built into the forum SW?

Thanks for your post - I missed the notification.

So what you say is interesting - that it displays at the correct size if you select "Open video in new tab".

I also found that, while it is playing, you can click on the 3 vertical dots and select "Picture in picture". That ALSO displays it at the correct size, but as another "Picture in picture", which is a bit pointless.

I believe you are right - the "zooming for videos" is built in to the forum software, but does NOT happen for images.

This means we have full control over the size of images but not of videos.

So come you forum support people, find out where this automatic zooming is in the forum software and turn it off, just like it is turned off for images.
