The text labels have their use but at some locations it is complete overkill. Can anyone append without registration? If so, there should be some easy method to make them invisible, which there is not!

in the options yu turn off 'population centers ... streets etc

Does this site/service work yet with apple/mac/safari?

When are they going to get around to this?

I also have this problem with gmail -which offers microsoft users all the word tools - but not apple/mac users.

Does anyone know why the Google Earth images of BKK are about five years old, when last year they were only about one year out of date?

Open the window on the left. On the bottom left, under the headings of "Layers" and "Places" are a number of boxes that are ticked or unticked.

Try unticking them (particularly Google Earth Community) and monitor results.
