Kancharak Wellness Clinic in Pathum Thani Province became the very first clinic to use Cannabis for treatment in Thailand which had been officially registered and approved by the Thai Ministry of Public Health since the country announced the movement of all parts of Cannabis and Hemes, except for Cannabis’ inflorescence and seed,  from type-5 drugs lists in the Thai government gazette on December 15th, 2020.

Thitirat Chareonarg , manager of the clinic, stated that there were many Thais who still see Cannabis as a drug while most of the people don't understand clearly about pros and cons of it, adding that the many properties of cannabis treat diseases more than other herbs.

Pharmacist Prakob Jianmareong, Headman of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine Unit, Nakhon Ratchasrima Provincial Public Health Office, emphasized the need to establish integrated cannabis clinics as traditional Thai clinics across the country, including traditional cannabis prescription doctors and cannabis-trained traditional medicine doctors from the Medical Services Department to treat patients. Ministry of Public Health has also been continuously promoting Thai Traditional Medicine doctors to work together with Conventional Medicine doctors to heal many chronic diseases especially in terms of pain relief.

Cannabis definitely is a medicine plant .

In it's original form .

Why the hype about a little THC that only makes people see things as they really are ? ( Consciousness enlarging )

May be because some politicians don't want just this ?

Studies have shown that the use of marijuana is associated with reduced cognitive function in teens.7 One study found that teens who regularly use marijuana lose an average of 5.8 IQ points by the time they reach adulthood.8 A recent study found that marijuana has a more negative impact on a teenager’s cognitive development than alcohol.9

Seems you may have partaken in your youth!

And somehow because this fool gets on TV and does this, it dispels the findings of The American Journal of Psychiatry? If anything, it cements it!

Do you really think that Musk is a fool ?

He is the one that set up the Space X program with Nasa , he founded Tesla , he is a very rich visionary despite the fact that he consumes cannabis .

May be you should try it as well ...? ( Consciousness enlarging ) ?

It won't harm you .

Exactly, And the other qualities (very rich) can surely be found side by side by damned fools, the types that should set an example, and set a bad one. You recommend I try it, simple to say, I would not take advice from someone off their head!

No wonder I was a "C" average student in High School.  Straight "A"s 4.0 student in college a decade later.  Hummm  ????
So if I hadn't smoked the devil's weed I could have had a 130+ IQ.  I feel so bad now.  (not)

The American Journal of Psychiatry did not find anything, they published an academic article by one doctor. You should realize this, perhaps you have lost cognitive function by not indulging..

What a dumb statement... you claim I have been disadvantaged by not partaking of mind affecting substances.

American Psychiatry is far far overworked of course, likely due to all the pot-heads there.

First you quote them and say how right they are. Now you are putting them down. One way or the other you have lost some cognitive function. Many do here in the LOS.

Thailand is not progressive enough ... look at Mexico :

https://www.aljazeera.com/economy/2021/9/3/how-will-legal-cannabis-firms-navigate-mexicos-business-risks

---> " Now, a bill to legalise recreational use by people over the age of 18 is in the hands of the country’s Senate of the Republic, which is expected to vote on it this month.

There is plenty of money to be made: the size of the medical cannabis market alone in Mexico is expected to reach $249.6m by 2025, according to an analysis by United States-based consultancy Grand View Research.

Major global cannabis firms such as Canopy Growth, Biomedican and Aurora Cannabis have been keeping a close eye on the legislative developments in Mexico with a view to profit from a countrywide market once the legalization bill passes. --- legal cannabis is set to have a nothing less than “transformative” effect on Mexico, “generating proper paying jobs or generating formal employment” along with providing new pharmaceutical options for people in need of medical care," <----

Make it legal now . That will attract big investors and big money . that's what Thailand wants and need , no ?

And when doing this , make Pattaya a ' Thai Las Vegas ' with big Casinos , Thai owned or chinese owned ( taxes )  ... will bring even more money and more fun , too ...

That family resort BS will not work anyway ...

I don't believe I said how right they are, it was a quoted source simply. The topic is not about me, so it seems it is you losing the thread.
