Maybe one of the many forms of influenza. But that is not to say that everyone will get the specific form of Coronavirus (SARS-Covid-2) that is killing so many people.

If there are 7 million asymptomatics in Thailand (that's a big if)  then everything we've been told about how many people this virus is killing is completely wrong.

Signs of this started to emerge everywhere, but in highly vaccinated countries you can't rely on the numbers, because the vaccines could be doing a very good job - they muddy the waters a lot and make comparing countries almost impossible.

Then there's India, supposedly 70% of Indians have had COVID already, the reported number of dead was half a million which would make COVID far less lethan than almost any respiratory disease that came before. That's when the quite ludicrous stories about the death numbers being wrong by maybe a factor of 10 which would make COVID gangerous again.

So the numbers are changing rapidly and when the numbers come in they are rubbished if they don't make COVID look like the next coming of the plague.

Only in time will we know the actual impact of this latest mutation.

Is Delta really as deadly as they make out? I don't think so....

Seriously , is that all you have got ? Utterly pathetic ?

Good!  I can't think of anything more appropriate.

They will 'recover' within 1 to 2 weeks if they're asymptomatic, how many iterations of future infections will it take until this exhausts itself?

Enough to burn thought the population and reach herd-immunity.

Then tell us, what it the CT on the rt-PCR they are using in Thailand?

If you can tell us that, and it is where it should be, I'll concede to being pathetic.

Documentation, please...

Better late than never.

Massive testing/tracking/isolation are some of the reasons why Denmark has gotten to a point, where the country once again are open with no restrictions.

It's a darn expensive strategy, but it seems like it was worth the money.

We are 5.8 mill people and during this pandemic we so far used 82,3 million PCR/Antigen tests. (almost 50/50)

Combine that with a high % of vaccinated danes, lockdowns during critical stages and mandatory masks in certain places, and it could explain why we are back to normal.

Time will tell how we will make it through our winter period, but so far the numbers looks good.

Fingers crossed that Thailand will finish their vaccination program before the end of 2021 so they too can return to normal.

Out of 65 million people in Thailand, I wonder how many get the flue each year, don’t die and never knew they had it .

Amazing Thailand, can keep markets open, smuggle illegal Myamese laborers into LOS, have anti government protests, and still open a sandbox, this is why it’s called, Amazing Thailand.
