Lite Beer
Easy and far cheaper to do yourself. Immigration will help you along. They don't bite.

Peterw42
OP, maybe clarify your location, and whether you just want an agent to hold your hand (you have all the documents and financials etc). Or you want an agent who can "assist" with missing documents or financials.

Don't be surprised if they even suggest extension volunteering. My guess is the 400k for few months is the issue for you? No There is no mention of it being needed in the immigration order for extensions. But some offices have wanted it to be in bank for 2 months. The OP is asking advice re agent. Stay on topic, give him advice or skip posting. I do not give illegal advise unlike some. Against forum rules as far as I know. If you do not qualify under the law find an option you do qualify for. Simple as that.
sirineou
The Agent here in Khon Kaen wanted $500, for extension based on marriage which seems to be the more difficult one. Wife and me did it our selves and I was surprised how easy it was. Immigration was very helpful, They told us what we needed. When we went back the girl at the front desk previewed all our documents, found our that we were missing something and something else was wrong, we fixed it, and went back. The immigration officer was very professional and pleasant, I finished signing all the papers in less than an hour. They scheduled a visit to our house a couple of days later. (also easy and pleasant) and I am set for a year. I suggest you do it yourself and save some money.
