I thought the Government was giving back the location used for the vaccinations at Bang Sue at the end of November.  If they are going to be giving boosters now, do they believe they will be finished by the date running in another OP. I know the other OP on this says the vaccinations/boosters will go until October 31st, but I can not believe that they would be finished here in BKK by then.

How do you do, my fellow vaccinated? PM Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha presided over the launch of the #COVID19 inoculation drive for students today at Phiboon Uppatham School in Huai Khwang District of Bangkok.

Have just return from a large branch of BigC with no temperature checks whatsoever on entry.

They think it's all over.......

Temperature checks have been being ignored for weeks now!  Even the BTS no longer cares.

To all intents and purposes, it is over (where I am in Bangkok, anyway) - apart from the bars and schools of course!

Over the last week or so, I have noticed a very marked increase in those with no Face Masks Etc, and an altogether more lax attitude toward any kind of anti- covid measures.

if they think its all over, just wait for it to come back and bite them on the rump.

I agree, just went to Central world. Walked in with no one at the door and on through the unmanned scanner.  Went and ate dinner upstairs and no one cared about people just walking in and then sitting 4 to a table.  Thinking people have become complacent. Unfortunately if this holds then I fear the cases will expand.  Watched also as people walked around with masks being worn under the nose or as chin straps.  We won't be returning to Central World any time soon.

Yes, that's pretty accurate, although it's been like that for a few weeks now.  I'm there almost every day.

I'm surprised by that, I agree it leads to complacency. Thermal scanners may not be very effective but its a covid measure that should be in place and sets the tone for awareness of the other measures, masks, sanitizer etc. While vaccination rates are so low then not applying this rule because of laziness is asking for further rule breaking.

I've got no problem with them at all even though I know they have minimal effect, it takes just a second to put your hand near it and done. I'm pleased to report that is not the case here in Phuket where they are still used extensively even with high vax rates. I understand in places like the UK where they are living with the virus already they they are not necessary.
