New Computer. Ui Is Strange.

Featured Replies

Hi, guys.

Yesterday I bought a new computer: Core2duo, 2GB DDR2, 256 7300GT, 160gb SATA II, etc

It does work fine but there's something about this windows installation. Whenever I start up there are no other programs that start up automatically even though there are like 20 listed in msconfig. When I use windowblinds everything is colored according to the skin except for the taskbar and start menu. And when I play some DVDs there's no sound but for others there is.

The only things I've installed are powerdvd, photoshop, windowblinds, ares, and a codec pack along with all of my music and movies.

Can anyone shed some light on these issues?

EDIT >.<

I looked at the processes in task manager and everything's running it just doesn't show in the taskbar.

Looks like it's a P*****Copy of windows!!

Get an original and install everything new: A Clean Install!!

What version of Windows ... XP? Vista?
