Penetration tester

Interesting question for Thai forum which will likely elicit many, possibly humourous, responses relating to Thai females or LBs. Having not seen the job advert I would expect it to mean a job security testing penetration of computer servers, IT systems or websites to see how easy it is to gain unauthorised or malicious access.

And I'm extremely disappointed with this salary. These two years of pandemic have brought millions of unneeded people in our cozy well-paid IT world and thanks to them the companies are now dumping the salaries.

From the internet:

Penetration testers, also known as “ethical hackers,” are highly skilled security specialists that spend their days attempting to breach computer and network security systems. ... They do this by trying to hack into networks to identify potential vulnerabilities in the system.

It is someone who is hired by a company to test their systems as a bad guy would and recommend (sometimes implement, particularly in small IT departments;  otherwise, it would be the infrastructure IT departments) changes to make the systems more impervious to attacks from either internal or external bad guys.   They are responsible for keeping viruses and other malware, ransom-ware, advanced persistent threats (usually from nation state actors), and thieves out of the company systems.   If it is a financial firm that is sourcing this, the salary seems a bit on the low side (they have the most to loose, obviously).
