Thai-born K-pop star Lalisa “Lisa” Manoban of the girl group “BLACKPINK” was given an honourary award by her hometown of Buri Ram’s Provincial Education Office on Tuesday, for her contribution to education in the province and her role as an example and inspiration for youth.

The award was in return for her sponsorship and founding of a K-pop learning centre in the province, as well as for helping a local school to get support from a Korean foundation by arranging a cultural exchange program.

Lisa’s mother, Chitthip Bruschweiler, accepted the award on her behalf.

They learn dance and singing, performance in general - you might compare it to acting schools in Western Countries... I think Lisa went to one in Korea as a young teen. It can be hard work but it can pay off big time as it did for her and Black/Pink...

As to learning the names of the superstars, surely they know them already.

Maybe they visited such a school.

get a Farang (Step)Father, then leave Thailand as soon as you can to have a successful life in another country.......

Or maybe not letting your Thai father clearing off when you were born get you down, having a dream, beating thousands in an audition, being brave enough to locate to another country then working your socks off for years before performing.. Learning other languages and becoming a multi millionaire doing what you love. Sounds like a great example and inspiration to me
