I Need Some Info From You Phuket Professionals

Featured Replies

Myself and a friend are thinking about bringing some of our Korean students to Phuket next December/ January. These are kids aged 8-13. It would be for 3 weeks and they would study English with us and we would take them out on excursions etc. We would all live together. There would be maybe 6-10 kids. Plus the two of us.

She would handle the Korean side of it as I am moving back to Thailand in 25 days! :o

I live in Trang and there is not enough to do there for them so I thought we could do it in Phuket. I basically need to create a budget so thought some of you could give me a ball park figure of the following:

1. Fully furnished, at least 3 bedroom house

2. Minivan with driver

3. average day of activities, sight seeing etc.

Also could you offer up some info on:

1. Where should we look for a house, what would be a good area?

2. What is there for kids to do in Phuket?

3. Is there a Korean restaurant (it is always the first thing Korean students want to know when they travel)

my husband and myself will be able to go to Phuket and scope all of this out but as this is just in the beggining stages of development thought maybe I should ask you all first. I have only been to Phuket once and it was for a night of debauchery so I really don't know much about it.

Thank you.
