In MBK on 4. floor you can find some adaptor for some (not all!) mobile phone to put 2 cards in one phone!

Take a look there.

Look for Mtec mobile phone or some of the other cheap pda phones from china. You can get one for less than 9000.

You can get these SIM cards that you then cut your phone sims down to only the pad and curcuit and insert 2 sims into it.. It then goes in ANY gsm phone and either works by switching the phone off then on to change sims (obvious if you have one locked / coded or using a different network) or you can use a menu in the phone menus for some phone software.

I THINK <not I do not KNOW> that you can get a double SIM from AIS etc if you are on post pay

Just changed my AIS acct to 2 numbers - 1 phone last Saturday... Mine is post paid and it was turned on within 3 hours after I bought it. They have to do some changes to their computers to make it work. I understand that pre paid can take a couple of days to set up the second number

You can get the second number post paid or pre paid...They require a work permit for post paid. The cost was very cheap.

You can set it for both numbers to ring or turn off one number and calls there got to voice mail...

Really a great system..

Cool ... I am on post paid but have never had a work permit :o my phone can handle 2 lines so I may want to do this at some point.

There are many phones available from China that take 2 sim cards simultaneously, try MBK or Khlong Thom

I've been using this 1 sim 2 numbers from AIS for about a year now. Yes, it's a great system. I have experienced once or twice that I have had "no network" signal for several hours where other GSM subscribers had a strong signal. I was told by AIS that they had had a few technical problems with the system.

I have also experienced 3 or 4 times that I couldn't send SMS's from my post paid number because "there isn't enough money in your account to send. Please top up" (or words to that effect.). I turn my mobile off and back on again and all is well.
