Mobile Phone Suspensions

Hi,

Again, new AIS PAYG sim card and it's going to be suspended once I return home, unless I keep topping it up. I'd really like to know if it's possible to keep a 1-2-Call number without the need to keep topping it up. I use the number mainly to receive incoming calls from overseas, so I'm topping it up without actually using much of the balance. I'd really like to keep this number, as even I can remember it!

If AIS is the problem, are there any other PAYG sim cards that I can buy instead.

Finally, just curious, but is it possible to send a picture message with a PAYG sim card here in Thailand. I've tried with the AIS card but keep getting a message failed error.

Thanks.
