OK, I heard it on the news 5 minutes ago, but someone rang me at the same time and I missed a bit.

It sounded like they want to stop internet banking in Thailand because people from Belgium and USA have been caught stealing money from Thai banks this way.

Sounds a bit extreme. Maybe sort their security out instead?

no, the problem is Internet banking doesn't yield higher level of transactions, didn't attract more customers, while the cost of developing and updating as well as phishing, keyloggers, canceled transfers and so, went too far beyond expectations.

Now about Belgium and American. American was da boss and Belgie was a senior developer, both on the contract. They didn't get their expected bonus, so they threatened to take what they thought belongs to them. Same as group of Indians worked with True on the new billing system based on Oracle + .Net technology. They were cheated too, and ....
