The manufacturers usually don't announce the release date until a week before or so, they also don't tell the dealers. However, prior to the "Public Launch", manufacturers will organize "pre-launch" events for the dealer networks (one objective will be to get the procurement orders & delivery schedules for the new models) and "launch events" for the press & social medias When, the general public starts to be aware of the new release, it'll review the "test ride reviews from the press", then, will go the dealers to discover the new bike "in situ" and buy it!
