Do you realize how many in law enforcement are mentally ill, and that get their jobs because of power issues? That they also kill hundreds of people every year that are unarmed? How many lives are saved every year by citizens who carry? There are millions of gun owners that are very safe with their firearms, and that only use them for either hunting, target shooting and defense of themselves or family, including myself. What reason is there to only give specific people the right to own? Guns will always be around, and the only defense against criminals is  police ,military, and lawful citizens who own them.
