Thailand’s night-time curfew to end from Dec 1 as government lays out reopening plans

Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) decided today (Friday) to extend the country’s State of Emergency until January 31st and to remove the COVID-19 “dark red” zone status, spokesman Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin told the media after the CCSA meeting.

CCSA advisor says Thailand’s COVID-19 situation has not yet improved

An advisor to Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), Professor Dr. Udom Kachinthorn, said today (Friday) that the COVID-19 situation in Thailand has not yet improved, with  daily infections fluctuating between 5,000 and 7,000 for the past few weeks and infections may surge following the easing of lockdown restrictions.

Thailand purchases another 30 million doses of Pfizer vaccine as booster doses

Thailand signed a deal to buy an additional 30 million doses of Pfizer mRNA vaccine from the United States yesterday (Thursday), to be used as booster shots.

Pfizer and Moderna Become Primary Vaccines at Bang Sue Grand Station

BANGKOK (NNT) - Bang Sue Grand Station Vaccination Center announced that from November 26, the center will only offer Pfizer and Moderna jabs as 1st, 2nd and 3rd doses, depending on what is available on the day.
