Popular Post webfact
Picture: INN A Bangkok Municipal Authority Covid-19 meeting warned pubs, bars and karaokes in the Thai capital that they can't just serve a bite to eat and get away with serving alcohol. Deputy governor Pol Lt-Gen Sophon Phisutthiwong chairing the meeting said that such establishments had to apply for the proper SHA, SHA+ and Covid Free Setting accreditation and follow all the required protocols before they would be allowed to operate as restaurants. This would enable them to serve alcohol up to 11 pm. Checks continue across the city's 50 districts to ensure that this is being followed to the letter. Top of the agenda was the city's response to the Omicron variant's arrival in Thailand though there had been no case in Bangkok as yet, reported INN. Calls were made for continuing strict measures and ensuring that protocols were being followed in the Thai capital. Andycoops
Apparently all the SHA accreditation courses are full for the next few weeks, especially in Chonburi. I wonder what the actual definition of a restaurant in Thailand is, to obtain a license. Does it actually need to have a kitchen for example? From what I've seen so far that's not the case.
Popular Post JonnyF
Just another way of controlling everyone and everything, creating a myriad of rules and regulations and then bribing cops to ignore them or fining people for breaking them.

Stargeezr
In most countries, a restaurant should have a kitchen to cook the food. In Thailand, likely a brown envelope with sufficient funds should suffice the cause. TIT after all, and COVID being a new thing for Thailand as well as the world, it creates all sorts of new problems.

Correct Safety, It's all about control. This new controlling gov't won't be giving you your freedom back any time soon. Same picture around the world. Our basic rights and freedoms are forfitted via Covid (protection) they're doing this to protect you from CV. 555
