I thought that was the POMS.

No the French, the poms also have a bad body odor but they never bothered to develop perfum.

Always funny how they present cases like this, they are nearly human.

We developed Lifebuoy soap instead.

I am still waiting for the heading "Thai woman arrested in Bangkok after conning a string of foreign gentlemen in a two year spree"

If any of those men reported their voluntarily giving money and property to their girlfriends to the police you wouldn't have to wait any longer.  There is a reason that the foreigners can't report those circumstances, they gave them of their own free will, there was no fraud and nothing was stolen from them.

I wonder if its considered an active scam if you give your GF money for a house and later the relation breaks and you lose the money. My feeling says its a scam but on the other hand many relations just break down so it might not have been planned.

"Will you give me some more money again, please?"

"Yes, of course, how much?"

"Will you buy me a car/motorbike?"

"Yes, which one would you like?"

"Will you build a house for me, please?"

"Yes, of course, how many bedrooms and bathrooms?".

That's no scam.
