Water Filter for Water Well and water filter for drinking water question

Good evening all

Few weeks now i am considering to go ahead and install a water filter not only in my house but also in my businesses. I have 2 boutique hotels in Phuket. The one has 2 water wells and the other one is in Patong with the quality of the water being very questionable. Now i make the thinks clear:

----For the waterwells (rawai area) i just need a recommendation what kind of filter to use to avoid the dirt come into the kitchen, showers etc.(i assume the installation is very easy you just plug it beside the water pump). The resort is very close to the beach so there is also salt coming up with the waterwell (the shower equipment are getting rusty). I checked on lazada PLENTY of options but i am getting lost although i made my research already. Can someone give me a recommendation? Nothing fancy not the best but something fair that does the job and i do not need to change the filter very often.

--Water filter for Patong now....I have seen and read online that there are some filters that they can purify the water and be drinkable....can someone that have used this kind of water filter post a reply in this topic? It seems to be inexpensive to set up a water filter for drinkable water and i want to provide this service for my clientele (only in the roof top kitchen so as to be able to make their coffee or just drink water, so only for one tap).

I would appreciate very much some responses that are being written from people that they have used the water filters themselves.

Thank you in advance

for example this filter has more than thousands of good reviews can not be garbage no?

@Bandersnatch might pick up on this thread... He has a pretty impressive water purification system.

Thanks, but I can take no credit for it as I employed a professional http://www.h2owatersystems.co.th/

Ruben from H2O water systems tested my well water but his recommendation for drinking water was rain water. So I have 2 filter systems: one for household water and one for drinking water.

I have two wells here in fl.  My systems for filtration are in order of sequence 1 large iron manganese filter, 1, 3ft. long ultra violet lamp for bacteria. 1  water softener,  2 whole house cartridge filters for sediment first is a 5 micron, going into a second one which is a 1 micron. Also we have a carbon filter in our fridge .   A lot of the people here don't have any filters as the underground water aquifers are considered to be bacteria free, but the water is high in <deleted>, and other particulates which gives it an off color, and taste, and is hard on clothes washers, dishwasher etc.

The two main problems with proper filtering is the maintenance, and the GPM restriction. In our case there are only two of us. So no problem, but if there were four or five and two were taking a shower, and the clothes washer, and dishwasher were running running there would be a problem.

In your case I would recommend two large whole house filters in series, a ten micron leading into a 5 micron leading into some type of UV setup then into your house.  Use 1 inch sch. 40 PVC pipe. Hope this helps.

PS,  you can always experiment with the filter micron rating to reach a balance between sufficent water flow and good filtration, I change my cartridge filters every three months, if you happen to get clear filter housing don't freak out if the filters turn dark in a few days. They are just doing there job, and it's only the very first layer that you are seeing turn brown.

I have long conceded to the fact that the quality of water from any source in Thailand has a potential for some form of  impurity or infection.

The most evident is mineral which is also the most consistent cause for maintenance of systems . Less evident is the increasing need to use systems that remove the incremental increase of even deep levels of extracted bore water.

I have a tall sand filter bottle but use glass media (down to 20 micron), then chorine injection, then two paper filters from Pentair (20 and 5 micron) then a carbon filter 5 micron, then UV - And I drink the water for years now.  Yes a pain to change filters every 3-4 months and the UV annually but it is a great system - 100% drinkable.   The g;ass media is good for 5-10 years and has an automatic backflush on it.

Thank you for the replies. So far i was not able to get the information that i wanted. Please write in the post if you know a professional that can do the installation. I have contacted the guy from Buriram (that was mentioned above) if he has a partner in Phuket but no response at all. I appreciate yours answers in advance.
