my wife is thai and we got married outside thailand,

if we get a baby and the baby is born outside thailand, do they still have teh legal right to become a thai citizen?

yes. Thai citizenship is passed down by blood. If at least one parent is a Thai citizen at birth then the child shall inheret rights to citizenship, no matter where it is born.
