Looking For The Elusive 1br Condo In The 12-15k Range

Featured Replies

Hi - I am looking for immediate occupancy for a 1BR (not studio) condo priced in the range of 12-15K baht. I can sign a one-year lease. Less than 500m from BTS or MRT required. Direct phone line (for high-speed internet) required. The place does not have to be recently remodeled - I would prefer something that might be a bit less fancy at a somewhat lower price. It would be great if it had a kitchen.

Appreciate any suggestions, advice, or offers. Thanks!

My advice is to checkout a topic I started in the Bangkok forum. The post is called 'Reccommendations Around Thong Lor/On Nut'. Some very helpful advice on there. I ended up getting a place for 14k, about 400m from the BTS.

Hope that helps,

BFD!

I just got a place at Waterford Park Rama IV (less than 600m away from Phra Khanong BTS - a few minutes walk or a 15-baht bike, basically)...lovely development and nice features in the apartment (including a proper kitchen area) for 13K...I saw an ad online somewhere for another apartment in the same place, also for 13K.

I live in a nice condo between 30/32 On Nut - although not 400m from the BTS - a 20 baht motorbike trip - saying that it's about 7 years old studio -3 bed condo, swimming pool, 24 hr security restraunt - 1br start at 10k -

Worth a look if you can take the moto taxi

Thanks, everyone, for the help and advice - it is sounding like the Phra Khanong/On Nut area is the place to look. I do really appreciate the willingness to share suggestions. Thanks!
