There is no reason, in terms of OS capabilities, for Microsoft to make this software Vista-only. What a typical MS maneuver. I'm tired of MS trying force new operating systems on users with this tactic of making windows add-ons incompatible with older OS versions. They usually wait longer before they start crippling their software this way, but now it seems they already making the switch. It just makes them look desperate and pathetic.

Incredibly, the Windows Mobile Device Center isn't even compatible with Vista's integrated email / contact / calendar functionality. That's right, if you want to sync your personal data you have to separately buy a full copy of Outlook!!!!!

Not only that, but it must be Outlook 2003 or above. And of course, virtually all Pocket PC's on the market ship with Outlook 2002, which is not compatible.

The most pathetic marketing ploy from Microsoft bar none.
