Haven't been recently.. I have "new system". Everyone has preferred arrival time. I like to arrive about 11.30 and obtain queue number. Have all my paperwork ready apart from banking. The clerks handing out queue ticket will/may look at TM7. The office closes between 12 to 1 pm. Then I go down to bank area and get all that done. Reenter 1pm does not take long. Oh check out current entry requirements regarding covid rules and what's required for entry to immigration. I am a nervous Nellie though. I need to have everything in order or I'll start to fret. My Kbank branch is across the street from where I live. The issue with that is.... Many do that plan. Not best idea. The line up for queue to get in imm section starts well prior to 1pm. Then of course once inside further que for ticket. Not good. Having obtained my ticket already I have no need to queue.. Even if you do banking at local office, I suggest arrive prior to break. Their is reasonable food court lower level for lunch. I can vaguely remember my first ever attempt at bank letter at branch local to me. They didn't have a clue what I needed. The nice bonus is that at the banks in CW they see a farang and know what you want before you say anything. BTW on same level is a print photo and photocopy stall. Helpful if you need something. "Is there a checklist of required documents?" You should ask your office for details of their particular requirements. But as a general rule you'll probably need to provide the following at the very least:- * Completed TM7 form + 1,900 THB cash (best exact IMHO) * Passport copies including TM6 departure card & TM30 notification * Latest TM47 90-day reporting notification * Appropriate home country embassy (unless you're American, Australian or British)/Thai bank supporting documentation depending on whether you're using the 65k minimum monthly income or 800k/400k minimum bank balance method for proving finances. * A certificate provided by an approved TGIA insurer confirming that you're covered by a suitable health insurance policy providing at least 40k outpatient and 400k inpatient cover for the entire period of your next extension of stay.
