mlkmnz Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Hi there, Sorry, a few questions from me lately but everyone here's just so ###### helpful and knowledgeable currently we're renting a Suzuki jeep (the small ones with canopy on back) for 600 baht a day, but will be requiring it or something very similar for a month and a half. Before I speak to the dude we're renting it from, what sort of price should I expect to pay for 48 days? Alternatively, does anyone here know of a place to get a small jeep cheap for that timeframe? Cheers

Cheers 12k-15k per month - low, low season 15K is ca. 500/day more or less. The original price of 600 Baht is not too bad actually. Let the 'dude' make some money too.....just in case you need him in an emergency case! Last time a friend rented one it was 900/day. Live and let live... LaoPo

manuchaomk Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 if you can, may you have a look at the end of Chaweng (in the way to Lamai) Seaside. You will see a Garage with Cars & Motorbikes for rent. Well, the month of april I rented one small jeep (funny nicknamed "pope-mobile") and the price was 700 THB/ one day (+ gasoline). You may bargain with khun Thai for a longtime-rental... . chok dee (good luck) , krapp Manu
