BANGKOK (NNT) - 101 COVID-19 vaccination sites have now been made available by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), with the purpose of reducing long queues and crowding among vaccine recipients and enabling people to select a site closer to home.

The 101 sites comprise 11 at hospitals under the jurisdiction of the BMA, 20 at other hospitals in Bangkok, and 69 at BMA public health service centers, in addition to the long-running vaccination center at the Thai-Japan Youth Center in Din Daeng district.

People seeking COVID-19 vaccines and booster shots may register on the QueQ mobile application and select from among the 101 sites.

In addition to the 101 sites, Bangkok City Hall is also dispatching BKK Mobile Vaccination Units (BMVs) into communities, to proactively inoculate people who have difficulty traveling. All procedures, such as patient profiling, vaccination, and issuance of appointment papers, will be completed on the BMV buses.

Bangkok Governor Pol. Gen. Aswin Kwanmuang wrote on his Facebook yesterday (12 Jan) that 24.65% of people in Bangkok have received the booster dose.
