Well, the old pc must be having some compatibility issues with the latest firefox version (2.0.0. 4) as my browser kept closing due to errors. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, removing all add ons etc. Nothing worked. So, I uninstalled and installed the .3 version. So far, so good.

Its working fine on my other computer, not sure what the problem was, but I will happily stick with a working version.

I've learned to always update my java and flash plugins when updating FF, also check to make sure your extenstions and addons are compatible with the new version.
