webfact
Picture: INN Commando police in Bangkok finally caught up with a cashier who skipped bail after being sentence to 20 years for bank fraud. Jiras Thanathathip, also known as Sasiphachat Praphasawat, 44, was arrested at a condominium in the Ramkhamhaeng area of the Thai capital, reported INN yesterday. Between January 2010 and August 2013 while working in the finance section of a luxury car dealership in the Ram Inthra area she put in 83 fake withdrawal slips. She conspired with others to defraud a bank of 16 million baht. When the fraud came to light she was taken to court. The court handed down a 20 year sentence with no suspension but she failed to turn up to the reading of the judgment.
