Does damage but does not destroy the world. But there are no cases of cannabis overdose drinking to death happens, recently was a article about it on Thaivisa. All those weak minded fools drinking alcohol.. oh.. i forgot alcies dont, consider alcohol a drug. Its just science that does that. Anyway I agree with legalizing, I used cannabis in the past great drug. Don't use it now as it indeed made me weak minded. I could not control myself and destroyed my diet. Plenty "weak minded fools" are adult former sexual abuse victims, veterans who saw too much, and other unfortunate humans who have had to deal with horrific pasts over which they had little to no control, or ability to escape. With the traumatized, most can process that stuff and some few can’t. Far nicer then the drug alcohol. Also helped me sleep when I had insomnia. The side effects of cannabis are far less then alcohol. No drug will be good for an active sportive guy. Alcohol is no exception and cannabis is also not great for me it killed my diet. But the same can be said for alcohol also bad for the body (worse actually). But my goals of a good physique just don't work with cannabis or alcohol. I honestly have never been tempted to chop off "Big Stan" .
