If I originally entered Thailand on a visa exempt, Then at one point did a 60-day extension visiting wife, then many covid extensions. Now have changed from all that to a Non-B 90 visas for work. Which I can't extend.  The big question is, am I eligible now to request a 60-day extension for visiting wife ?

NO

You can only apply for one 60 day extension to visit your wife per entry to the country.

Hi Joe. I have done visa exempt then 30 days extended. Now I can go and get 60 days for visiting my wife?

Yes. 

You may wish to ask for covid extension 60 days.

Keep your 60 to visit wife in the bank..
