webfact Posted February 20, 2022 Share Posted February 20, 2022 By Goong Nang(GN) Banglamung – A Chinese man and a Thai woman have been arrested at a crocodile farm in Banglamung, resulting in more than 50 crocodiles being seized for allegedly not having proper licenses for the reptiles. Yesterday, (February 18th), a team from the Nongprue Police, Immigration Police, and officers from the Thai Fisheries Department inspected a crocodile farm in the Nong Plalai sub-district. Mr. Yun Weixia, 63, a Chinese national, and a Thai woman identified by Immigration Police only as Ms. Lamduan, 53, were present at the farm, naming themselves as the owners of the establishment. CLW Posted February 21, 2022 Share Posted February 21, 2022 From the provided pictures the living conditions of the crocodiles on this farm are better than some other Thai crocodile farms I have visited.
