Yeah you carry on with your following.

I will just hope the war is stopped.

Russia is apparently recruiting thousands of Syrian fighters skilled in urban combat to fight for them in Ukraine. Earlier Putin claimed it was reprehensible and immoral for foreign fighters to come to Ukraine to fight against the Russians. The man gives hypocrisy a whole new meaning.

Red line there surely, Putin has invaded Ukraine and is now inviting other countries to also invade, Syrian forces at that!

Anyway bit of an update on it.

Putin’s army clearly in trouble. Suggestions Syrian rebels will fight with Ukrainian forces as Assad regime troops help Putin. The world truly turned upside down.

Russian Defense Minister Shoigu says there are 16,000 volunteers in the Middle East ready to come to fight with Russian-backed forces in Ukraine. Putin says volunteers should be allowed to fight. Via @Reuters

Even Russian state television are now criticizing the war. Want to bet how long these people will go to jail for standing up to Putin?

That's why about 99% of Russian elite will go to their beloved West in the nearest 3 months. Including journalists, oligarchs and bankers. After that you will see another Russia.

Well as Rhett Butler said….

The Big Run is in progress. About 50k of 200k has run out via Georgia already. Russians need other elite, more eastern-style, which will not annoy Russians with their "democratic values", such as "free press" or so.

The footage from Ukraine where they just dump dead people into mass graves are heart breaking.

Just thrown into a hole on top of other bodies.

No funeral, no goodbye, no nothing ????

I'm glad the EU is leading the way in stopping Russian oil and gas supplies by 2027.

I bet you are. Plenty of funds yet to roll in for the attack or should I say "Special Mission" as you refer to it in previous posts.

Why not take the post on what it is based on instead of sly remarks.

I did. Read it. The sly remark you refer to was an added fact.

Okay lets all clap hands and say what a jolly good job we are doing to stop this mess.

The U.N. human rights office said on Friday it had received "credible reports" of several cases of Russian forces using cluster munitions in populated areas in Ukraine, adding that indiscriminate use of such weapons might amount to war crimes.

Russians like such articles very much. But they are like a good wine which need years to become really tasty:

"The only scenario that is really going to work is one in which Russia pulls out of Ukraine but we find some kind of mechanism to make Putin feel like he's gotten something out of this,

Maybe he'll take with him the 30% of Ukrainians whose first language is Russian.

Syrians are Arabic people, right? What is the connection between Syrians and Russians? I don't get it.
